The Race to Opening Day: Inside the New Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum
Just 14 months ago, Balance Studios along with their and esteemed partners, BPI and Geomedia, were tasked with an incredible challenge: help capture the magic of the Indy 500 by creating the technology and media for the all-new museum experience for one of America’s most iconic pass-times! The media package was massive!
• 23 Interactive Experiences with a custom-built enterprise content management system

• 6 Soundscapes
• Two large-scale, complex immersive theater presentations
• And a projection mapped dimensional racetrack

From contract to final installation, the entire multi-million dollar project was completed in under 10 months - on time and on budget!
The long anticipated re-imagined museum opened with rave reviews from both the public and racing aficionados, a testament to the extraordinary teamwork, trust, and drive that fueled this project from start to finish.
